Abstract

The paper will speak about the contemporary revival of mumming in the United States. The revival of mumming in the United States has come to be so strongly associated with the Winter Solstice that it's taken on quite a life of its own. As such the revival of mumming in the United States differs in many ways from its British revival(s).The paper will describe and discuss these differences in detail. [Full PDF - 616kB]
