Describes the revival of the "Plough-lights" ceremony of "Blessing the Plough" in church on the Sunday before Plough Monday at Tickhill, Notts. Vaguely links this to an older plough trailing custom. Ringing the "Pancake Bell" each Shrove Tuesday is also mentioned.
