  4. Plays with less than 0 matching lines have been omitted.
  5. Known composite scripts prepared by known authors have been omitted.
  6. Chapbooks, broadsides, and other commercial texts have been omitted.

What to do:

You can use this tool to see geographically how many lines from a give folk play script - the primary text - appear in other folk plays. This can provide clues as to how a version arose or evolved, and how it may have been transmitted around the country.
