Description:
We are a cast of nine, and usually perform the play with the musical element sung by Brighton Folk Choir. There are also songs you can join in with (words and instruments provided!)
The play is based on a Sussex Mummers play which incorporates folk songs and was inspired by a traditional script collected in Ovingdean near Brighton.

s Founder Jo Goddard is from a folk family, her mother Sandra was a folk singer in Sussex, and father Lawrence helped run the Friday Folk Club at the Springfield, Brighton. Musical Director Jo Burke is leader of the Brighton Folk Choir
