Dear Sir,

I read in the E.&K. Advertiser about your
interest in "The Guisers" & I am sending the enclosed
version to you.

Two of my brothers & their friends performed
this version for many years in teh Underwood, Bagthorpe
& Brinsley districts.

In 1953, Professor Maurice Barley from Nott'm
University came to see us, he too was interested in
"The Guisers", & he arranged for the B.B.C. to come to
"The Hole in The Wall" Underwood, where we then lived,
to make recordings. This was then broadcast on
Jan 13th 1954.

My youngest brother was then playing the part of
"St. George", having taken over the roll a few yerrs previously
from his older brother. Alan Gill, former Notts cricketer,
then a boy at school, was the "Door-man".

I trust you will find this of interest.

I am sir
Yours sincerely
M.E.Sisson (Miss)
