Mumming followed hearty singing. Rampaging out of the memory of long winters past, we present to you the essence of a proper Merrie Yuletide. Old Father Christmas brings a cast of characters to perform (A version of) the ancient Leigh Mumming Play. Don’t ask what it’s about, we’ve no idea. Just enjoy the spectacle of the greatest battle that ever was known. It’s only once a year. Don’t miss it!
